Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), has received COVID-19 vaccine.
He disclosed this on his Twitter page even as he commended frontline workers for their services during this pandemic.
On his Twitter page, Gates wrote:
”One of the benefits of being 65 is that I’m eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. I got my first dose this week, and I feel great.
“Thank you to all of the scientists, trial participants, regulators, and frontline healthcare workers who got us to this point.”
Gates and his wife, Melinda were of the opinion that there will be dead bodies all over the streets of Africa and harsh effects if the world does not act fast enough.
However, that was not the case in African in 2020.
Bill Gates who admitted to being wrong about his earlier prediction said he was happy his prediction about Africa has not happened.
“One thing I’m happy to have been wrong about—at least, I hope I was wrong is my fear that Coronavirus would run rampant in low-income countries. So far, this hasn’t been true,” he wrote
