Emiliano Sala, the late Argentine footballer whose death sent a huge shock to football lovers, has been buried in his country.
Family, friends and football administrators all turned up to pay their last respect to Emiliano Sala, who was buried in Argentina on Saturday. While his sister Romina, found it quite hard to control her emotions after Sala’s remains was taken to his first club at San Martin de Progreso, mourners were spotted wearing “Emi” number 9 shirts as a tribute to the 28-year-old forward who died in a plane crash ahead of a private cremation.
UK Sun reported that Sala’s aunt, Mirta Taffarel, who also found it pretty difficult to express thought about the whole incident earlier in the day, said;
“I do not understand it. I would like to find a responsible person, someone to tell me what has happened, but it only seems that fate led us to this,” she stressed, even as his cousin, Martin Gatti, was furious with the size of the plane Sala was forced to travel to the United Kingdom.
