Ander Herrera could be heading out of Manchester United in January, because he is “disappointed at the delay in offering him a new deal”, according to Metro UK.
It claims that Herrera, whose deal expires at the end of the season, will listen to offers in the winter despite wanting to stay.
But United “have made little progress in talks since triggering a 12-month extension last November” and he has yet to be offered a new contract.
It is believed that “Herrera’s camp are understood to be frustrated by United’s refusal to offer fresh terms so far and believe their client will not be short of offers.”
However, it adds that Jose Mourinho “is keen on keeping Herrera, and values his versatility.”
