Three people have died after being struck by a train in London this morning.
Shortly after 7.30am, officers from British Transport Police were called to Loughborough Junction in the south of the capital following a report of multiple bodies being found.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Officers are at the scene working to identify the three people and inform their families.
A number of enquiries are said to be underway to find out how the three came to be on the tracks.
Train services in the area are likely to be delayed for the rest of the morning with travellers being advised to check Network Rail for disruption information.
