Internet blasts Fergie over her performance of the US National Anthem at the NBA all star game (Video)
Fergie sang the National Anthem to kick off the 2018 NBA All-Star game, and almost everyone seemed to hate it.
Twitter users tore into Fergie on Sunday night after she kicked off the NBA All-Star game with a “slow” and “strange” performance of the national anthem.
Some even went so far as to call it the “worst rendition ever.”
“Good god please sing it better than that,” wrote one user.
“Fergie was singing like she was in a car that kept making sharp turns,” another said.
Referencing one of the most infamous national anthem singers in history, NFL columnist Mike Freeman added: “Even Carl Lewis thinks Fergie’s anthem was trash.”
Tons of stars also blasted Fergie for her sultry rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner Sunday night ahead of a mega showdown between Stephen Curry and LeBron James’ all-star squads. Charles Barkley wanted to dive right in afterward … but Shaq wouldn’t let him.
