“I Left My Marriage Because My Husband Beats Me” — Chika Ike Break Silence
Beautiful Nigerian actress, Chika Ike has disclosed that she boldly “walked” out of her marriage.
She indicated that her husband, Tony Eberibe abused her on several occasions of which she could not bear it any longer.
She was quoted by Nigeriafilms.com saying:
“The last incident was when he almost hit me with a glass jug and I had to escape…at this juncture, I knew I had escaped death and was not willing to continue in it.”
The beautiful actress and Tony Eberibe, a banker tied the knot in 2006, stayed together for about six years until their legal divorce in 2006.
Interestingly Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu recently expressed his love for Chika. He shockingly revealed that his New Year’s resolution is to woo the actress and marry her.
Actress Chika Ike is currently based in the United States of America where she is continuing her Programme for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School.
According to Nigeriafilms.com, Chika indicated that she was going to get married the second time but refused to disclosed the identity of her newly found love.
