Turkish Club, Bursaspor SK Sign Super Eagles Defender, Shehu Abdullahi (Photos)

Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi has officially signed a two-and-half-year contract with Turkish club Bursaspor SK from Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta FC.
The move sees him join Super Eagles duo of Mikel Agu and William Troost-Ekong at the club.
Speaking to the club official site subsequent to completing the two-and-half-year deal, Abdullahi said he joined Bursaspor SK to make progress and enable propel his career: “I came here to help the team. I hope we can achieve great results, I came here to help wedge on the way to Europe and even to be in the Champions League.
“I am very happy to be here. I also want to use this opportunity to thank the band. They tried to reach social media many times. I hope it will be successful here, and at the end of the season, we celebrate it as a family here.
“Of course this will give the decision to the manager. I’m ready to play wherever I am assigned to play. I heard Paul Le Guen’s name when the Nigerian national team tried to employ him.
“I feel very lucky as a player because I think it will involve something in my career. Of course, what the Hossain wants is important. I like to support the attack. Hodja, except if I don’t have the opportunity to support the attack, ” he clarified.
