Dorussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has dropped a major hint that he’s keen to take Alexis Sanchez‘s No.7 shirt at Arsenal.
The 28-year-old Gabonese was left out of Dortmund’s squad, which drew 1-1 with Hertha Berlin on Friday night and, incredibly, was caught playing an indoor match with pals while the Bundesliga clash was taking place.
German sports news outlet, Bild, published photographs of Aubameyang during the friendly kickabout and the shirt number on his back was a number seven shirt.
The number 7 shirt was reserved for departing Alexis Sanchez who become Manchester United player within a short period.
Dortmund chief Michael Zorc, had earlier rubbished the speculation of Aubameyang’s imminent move to Arsenal despite reports suggesting that he’s set to travel to London to discuss the transfer this weekend.
He said, “There’s a way back into the team, but professionalism is part of that, and that includes saying you’ve made a mistake in one situation or another,” Zorc said ahead of Dortmund’s draw with Hertha Berlin
