List of states owing salaries and number of months owed

According to the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) 23 states are currently owing local government workers salaries of up to 16 months.

1, Bayelsa state- owes 10 to 16 months
2, Kogi – 7 to 15 months
3, Delta – 8 to 14 months
4, Kaduna – 12 months
5, Oyo – 3 to 11 months
6, Edo – 10 months
7, Abia – 5 to 9 months
8, Kwara – 2 to 9 months
9, Benue – 9 months
10, Nasarawa – 7 months
11, Ondo – 6 months
12, Ekiti – 6 months
13, Imo – 6 months
14, Adamawa – 4 months
15, Rivers – 4 months
16, Akwa Ibom – 4 months
17, Ebonyi – 4 months
18, Plateau – 4 months
19, Taraba – 3 months
20, FCT- 3 months
21, Enugu- 1 to 3 months
22, Osun – been paying half salaries for 24 months
23, Cross River- about 700 workers are owed for between 1 to 3 months
24, Zamfara – hasn’t implemented minimum wage
