The Nigerian born CEO of Global Connections for Women Foundation(GC4W) based in Manhattan is also an adjunct professor . Lilian is a graduate of Harvard and has an MBA from Finance and Marketing, Zicklin School of Businesss .
The young achiever has many feathers to her cap, one being a Boards member of the Nigerian American Agricultural Empowerment Program(NAAEP). This board trains farmers on the use of machines to farm. Governor Mickey Dale Beebe of Arkansas awarded her the role of a Goodswill Ambassador. She has been conferred many awards for being dedicated and committed to rendering selfless services to the community.
A successful television host, she made her debut with the series, “path to passion”, a platform where young businesswomen are invited to pour out their hearts. She believes watching these women on TV, will encourage other young girls out there to stand up and chase their dreams.
Her first written work was featured on Diplomatic Courier, a n International magazine. Lilian , who is also a speaker , has spoken on the podiums of Giant Business organizations which include; Colombia Business Schools and New York University-Stern Business Economic Forum. She was yet honored when invited to speak on empowering the future of an African Woman at the Trinity International Development Initiative(TIDI), at the Trinity College Durban University of Ireland. The dark skinned beauty also served as a political representative at Washington, DC.
The accomplished speaker indeed showed the sky is her starting point when she was called up to address the United Nations President and other dignitaries on the Climatic changes of the world. She went on to relate the constraints placed on women by harsh weather conditions. This saw her speaking on Sustainable Development Goals at the State House in Abuja, much later. She also headlined a seminar on Status of Women and Girls in the Africa and the World, and also spoken on the podium of a United Nations Women seminar. Her vision is to create the largest empowerment programs for women worldwide.
Her mission is to ensure that through her foundation, other women will be encouraged to help the needy and other women in the rural area socially and economically , through assistance of GC4W. Lillian has also served as Digital Marketing executive . Applause Africa magazine placed her in their “Top 40 under 40” most inspiring Africans in their Diaspora list. Black Enterprise Magazine named her ”Power Woman of the Diaspora”
Representing the voice of a woman, she decided to marry the ideas of women globally and eradicate gender inequality. The hardworking Nigerian who spread her tentacles through various social media platforms like twitter and Facebook is planning to recruit young girls for a campus project, GC4W Junior Champions.
This will create a mind of innovation in the young ones and inspire them to be better leaders tomorrow. Her advice to the younger generation is to always seize every opportunity they have , young adults should stop bemoaning the situation of the country and start creating jobs instead of blaming the Government.
