If there’s anyone who knows about juggling multiple roles, it’s Queen Rania of Jordan. The 46-year-old royal works tirelessly to meet her charity and human rights commitments… all while attending official events, raising her four children and spending quality time with her husband and ‘life partner’, King Abdullah II of Jordan.
Queen Rania, who has been named the world’s most beautiful consort, has spoken about life in the palace and how she manages to find a balance between her public and personal lives.
The glamorous royal met her husband at a dinner party in 1993 and the pair wed just six months later. But despite the fairytale nature of the story, the Queen insists that her job is simply about serving the people of Jordan.’Being a queen is a job like any other. It has nothing to do with crowns, carriages or castles… I made a commitment to the people of Jordan to serve them to the best of my ability, and I try to live up to that commitment everyday,’ Queen Rania told Stellar.
And unlike many others in the public eye, Queen Rania is grateful for social media and the opportunity to share aspects of her life with her 2.6 million Instagram followers.Admitting that it is hard to connect with people as a Queen, the humble royal said social media has ‘opened a window into my life and helped demystify who I am.’
