Some weeks back Oba Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the 51st Ooni of Ife came under attack for singing that Jesus Christ is his father at a church.
The influential Yoruba monarch attracted a lot of controversy and comments on social media over his traditional culture and religious leaning clashing.
In a new post on his Instagram, Oba Ogunwusi writes,
“We are tagged as idol worshippers, but truth be told we are not idol worshippers. Our traditions give all the glory, adoration and honor to the almighty God which we know as Olodumare. #OoniofIfe”
