Two men have been extradited from Victoria accused of sexually assaulting a 10-month-old girl in the New South Wales central west.
According to ABC Online, Victoria Police tipped off their New South Wales counterparts following investigations into child pornography.
Detectives from the NSW Child Abuse Squad travelled to Victoria and arrested two men, both aged 50.
The pair were extradited to NSW where several charges were laid.
They were brought to Waverley Local Court in a police truck, but neither appeared at their mention this morning.
The men did not make a bail application and they are due to return to court next week.
Police alleged the men sexually assaulted the girl at her home in the Bathurst area in April 2015.
One man was charged with two counts of sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years, along with producing, disseminating and possessing child abuse material.
The second man was also charged with sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years, as well as using a child under 14 to make child abuse material and several other charges relating to making and distributing child pornography.
In addition to those charges, police alleged one of the men used his mobile phone to indecently photograph the girl before sharing the material with others.
