The governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson, has officially appointed two members of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) into his cabinet.

The Cable reports, the newly elected People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson, has appointed two members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) into his cabinet.

They are;

1. Ben Iyororokumo – Special Adviser on Inter Party Relations
2. Clever Lawrence – Special Adviser on Information, Communication and Technology Development.

The governor charged them to put in their best in helping him achieve his restoration mandate, adding that his decision to pick people from the opposition party was in fulfillment of his promise to run an all-inclusive government.

It can be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor, who was re-elected in January, dissolved his cabinet two months ago, retaining only Daniel Iworiso-Markson, his chief press secretary (CPS).

The governorship election was a fierce contest between him and former governor of the state, Timipre Sylva, who ran on the platform of the APC.
