Nigerians have been urged to be patient with President Muhammadu Buhari on the pace of his Governance.

Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Aremu Gbadebo made the appeal at his palace in Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital during a press conference marking the commencement of activities for his tenth anniversary on the throne as the tenth Alake of Egbaland.

He assured that judging by the nature of President Buhari, who he described as a deep personality, the nation would be transformed to the expectations of Nigeria.

He said:
“I want to plead with Nigerians, who are saying President Muhammadu Buhari is slow, to be patient with him. He is not slow. He is a deep leader and selfless. He is neither given to frivolity nor is he materialistic. He is equally a good listener. If you are talking to him, he normally would be listening to you, but you might think he was not listening until you would see him taking actions.

“I am sure in the next four years; he would turn Nigeria into a country all Nigerians will be proud of.”

According to the monarch, President Muhammadu Buhari appears to be delaying because he is strategizing and by the time he begins work, all the things that are currently in disarray would be well properly structured.

Oba Gbadebo however, noted that the president inherited a depleted treasury, noting that the world market price of the nation’s major source of revenue, crude oil, is currently nose-diving which required the citizenry to exercise patience.
