Linda Ikeji was born on 19 September, 1980, to a Catholic family from Imo State, Nigeria. An alumni of University of Lagos (UNILAG). The former model started blogging because of her love for writing, English language and lack of job opportunities in her home country.
Linda Ikeji has transformed news reporting in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

She has single-handedly with her team, serve news content up-to-the minute in quick succession. Miss Ikeji gives generously to her readers through her LIB giveaway and recently in August 2015 she gave away N5million of her own money to 15 girls for ‘I’d Rather Be SelfMade‘ project to encourage and motivate in helping young ladies start their own businesses.

However, Linda Ikeji’s blog was shut down on October 8, 2014, but restored on October 10, 2014 around midnight by Google for undisclosed reasons. Since that incident, she has grown even stronger with various corporate bodies begging her for advert placement (In her words – “now, na them they chase me with adverts…lol”).
