Fashola Speaks About the Alleged N78million Spent on His Personal Website

The former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola has finally spoken on reports that emerged last Saturday, detailing how he spent the sum of N78 million for the upgrade of his personal website.

According to a budget report on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (LSPPA), the contract was awarded to Info Access Plus Limited.

After the report was trailed by a lot of mixed reactions, Fashola in a statement on Thursday night, denied the allegation and compared his accusers with pigs who get ‘happy’ when they get you ‘dirty.’

Since rumours began to spread that Fashola’s name may have been penciled down to be appointed minister by President Buhari, the former governor has come under heavy scrutiny. Some reports even suggest that he fathered a set of twins outside wedlock.
