Ex-President Jonathan, Sends Emeka Anyaoku To Plead With President Buhari Against Probing Him


According to SaharaReporters, former Commonwealth Secretary, Chief Emeka Anyaoku was mandated by ex President Jonathan to appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to halt the launch of an official probe of his administration. It should be recalled that the President has made it his major priority to curb the menace of corruption in the country as well as the recovery of sums of money looted from the country’s treasury by corrupt politicians.
The news was revealed to the online platform by close aides of Buhari who claimed Jonathan is currently in fear concerning the missing $20 billion dollars from the Excess Crude Account which is highly debated. According to the source, this is not the first time Jonathan will be making an attempt to plead with Buhari to help cover his financial misdeeds. He reportedly sent former military Head of State, Gen.Abdulsalami Abubakar to help pacify the president against going after him.
