Serena Williams wins 6th Wimbledon, 21st Grand Slam title
Serena Williams defeated Garbine Muguruza 6-4 6-4 to win her 6th Wimbledon Championship and her 21st Grand Slam title.
Williams, the world Number 1, is now the current defending champion of all four grand slam tournaments, given that she has stormed to the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon titles this year, and also winning last year’s US Open.
