Nigerian Motorcycles To Be Produced En Mass

Nigerian automobile company, Innoson Nigeria Ltd, plans to set up an assembly plant to mass produce first made-in-Nigeria motorcycle.

Mohammed Haruna, the executive vice chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), has said this to Leadership.

The company had launched its first ever wholly made-in-Nigeria motorcycle in June 2013.

The NASENI M1, 80C engine motorcycle, was imagined, designed and factory-made, using local materials by Nigerian engineers at the National Engineering Design Development Institute, one of the nine research and development (R&D) organizations managed by the agency.
