Governor Amosun orders immediate removal of Jonathan’s portraits from offices


The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Wednesday ordered the immediate removal of the leftover of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s portraits still adorning various ministries and agencies of government.
Mr. Amosun gave the directive when he sighted Mr. Jonathan’s portrait in one of the offices at the Ministry of Finance at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, during his visit to a number of offices and Ministries, as part of his familiarization visit to workers.
The Governor, could not hide his displeasure when he saw the former president’s portrait still hanging on the wall.
He told the workers to remove the portrait and replace it with the new president, Muhammed Buhari, immediately, making it clear that a new president has been sworn in.
