Caitlyn Jenner is a Science project – Snoop Dogg
The rapper has weighed in on former Olympian Bruce Jenner’s transformation to Caitlyn Jenner, calling her a “science project.”
In an Instagram post early Wednesday, Snoop Dogg published a photo of fellow musician Akon, praising his Akon Lighting Africa initiative, which aims to provide electricity via solar power to some 600 million people in Africa.
Unfortunately, in doing so, he lobbed a major insult Jenner’s way.
“Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million Africans with solar power,” Snoop Dogg‘s message read. “I’m really upset that this isn’t major news but that science project Bruce Jenner is.”
The message ended with the hashtag “#Society.”
Caitlyn Jenner was introduced to the world on Monday via the July cover of Vanity Fair, which was accompanied by an extensive article and photo shoot.
For the most part, Jenner has received praise for her transformation, including a tweet from President Obama reading, “”It takes courage to share your story.”
And then, on occasion, there’s stuff like Snoop Dogg‘s post.
Maybe Snoop Dogg should limit his discussion of science to hydroponics in the future.
