UK Garage Crews Reunite For London Show

So Solid, Heartless Crew and Pay As You Go will team up for a one-off gig this weekend.
UK GARAGE is set for a revival this weekend as three of the genre’s most popular crews team up for a London show.
So Solid, Heartless Crew and Pay As You Go will join forces UKG Gold; a gig at Indigo in the O2 Arena, which looks set to recreate the good vibes of the UK garage era.
All three collectives enjoyed chart success in the early 2000s, spearheading the mainstream appeal garage enjoyed throughout the decade.

Arguably the UK’s most successful garage collective, So Solid, complete with over 30 members, scored success with hits including They Don’t Know and their number one smash, 21 Seconds.
Fronted by MC Megaman, the south London crew won a BRIT Award for Best British Video for 21 Seconds in 2002.

FINGER ON THE PULSE: Heartless Crew
Much-loved trio Heartless Crew, comprised of MCs Bushkin and Mighty Moe and DJ Fonti, brought dancehall influences to their garage sets and are best remembered for their hit, Heartless Theme.
East London crew Pay As You Go launched the careers of popular MCs Wiley and Maxwell D. The collective scored success with their 2002 hit Champagne Dance.

Garage lovers should prepare to revive the two-finger skank and make repeated cries of “olly, olly, olly”, as this show is set to deliver the hits and the hype that made UK garage such a phenomenon in black British music history.
UKG Gold takes place at Indigo in The O2 Arena, London on May 16. For Tickets visit: gigsandtours.
