President Jonathan & Buhari embrace & smile as they sign the Peace Accord (Photos)
The two political rivals President Goodluck Jonathan and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) met Thursday morning 26th March, 2015. They once again were pictured smiling, holding hands and sharing a warm embrace as they signed another peace accord.
The meeting brokered by the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections, led by Gen. Abdusalami Abdusalami (retd.), is meant to extract commitment from the leading candidates that the forthcoming elections will be violence-free.
They signed the document under the supervision of Abdusalami shortly after emerging from a closed door meeting.
