He called France a Sh*t Country..

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish international and PSG striker has apologized after comments he apparently made about France and French football were picked up on camera.

The Paris Saint-Germain player lost his cool following PSG surprise 3-2 loss to Bordeaux, he scored twice in the game but could not prevent PSG from losing, and he then launched into a foul-mouthed rant after the final whistle.

In 15 years I’ve never seen a [good] referee in this shit country … [they] don’t even deserve PSG,” he was heard to say in Canal Plus TV footage.

The French sports minister, Patrick Kanner, called on the Swede to apologize, telling him “disappointment did not justify his offensive comments”.

The Swedish player later wrote on his Instagram.

Regarding my comments after tonights game; they were not against France or the French people.
I spoke about football. I lost the game, I accept that, but I can’t accept when the referee doesn’t follow the rules. It’s not the first time, and I’m sick of it.
My sincere apologies if anyone was offended, or took it the wrong way.”

The French Sports minister later called Ibrahimovic a “great champion” for apologizing on his Instagram.
