Didier Drogba, is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea as a star striker, and is the all-time top scorer and former captain of the Ivory Coast national team.
He was born March 11, he is 37 years old today.
Didier Drogba started playing professionally at age 18 and he has played for “Le Mans”, “Guingamp”, “Olympique de Marseille” before joining Chelsea for a club record fee of £24 million in 2004. In 2012 he became the first African player to score 100 Premiership League goals. He also played in China and Turkey before returning to Chelsea in 2014.
He Played for Ivory Coast from 2002 to 2014 and was made captain in 2006.
Didier, has won UEFA Champions League medal, 3 Premier League medals, 2 African footballer of the year and many numerous league and individual awards all over the word.
He is Ivory Coast’s most popular individual in the world.
