Emeli Sandé – Beauty of the Day (Happy Birthday)

Emeli Sandé, the British soul singer and songwriter is 28 years old today march 10th. She was born to a Zambian Dad and English Mum in Sutherland and she was named Adele Emily Sandé. Emeli grew up in Scotland.

She was signed by Virgin Records in 2010 and later released her first single “Heaven” 2011. She later had subsequent singles “Read All About It”, “Next To Me” and “Beneath Your Beautiful“, which culminate to her album debut “Our Version Of Events“. The album sold over 1 million copies after enjoying 7 straight weeks at number 1 in the UK.

Emeli Sandé career climax was when she performed at the opening and closing ceremonies of London Olympics in 2012.
