It appears that the trend in Nigeria’s entertainment industry now is, Veterans coming out to lay claims to the success of hardworking young artiste.
Just a few week after Eedris Abdulkareem lashed out on majority of successful artistes claiming to have paved way for them, another Veteran artiste who is known to have only had one hit to his credit, Konga is all out again laying claims to the success of Wande Coal and members of Mo’Hits crew.
In a chat with Goldmyne TV, the singer explained how he introduced Wande Coal’s talent to Don Jazzy and D’Banj. According to him, he wanted to help Wande Coal’s career by either making him his backup artiste or introduce him to D’Banj and Don Jazzy who actually needed a backup artiste at that time.
“I thought of making Wande Coal my backup artiste but I felt he will shine more with Mohits that’s why I introduced him to Don Jazzy and D’Banj”
He also expressed his disappointment at the unappreciative gesture of Don Jazzy, D’Banj and Wande Coal himself.
“They never picked up the phone to call me and say thank you,” he said
