Eat The Corpse’: Angry Family Drops Body Of A Man In Front Of The Hotel He Died In (Photo)

A young man simply identified as Toyin was been found dead inside a swimming pool after he drank with his friends at a popular hotel in Lagos. The incident happened at the popular Glory Land Hotel located at Olanipekun Drive, Pipeline bus stop at Isheri Olofin area of Lagos, where the hotel was located and the victim resided.

The parents of the victim and some youths in the area protested over the manner the victim died, took the corpse and dropped in front of the hotel asking the management to eat the corpse. It took the intervention of the police at Idimu Division to remove the corpse and deposit at the mortuary for autopsy report.

It was gathered that the late Toyin went with some friends to the hotel to have some drinks. They were said to have drank so much by the side of the hotel’s swimming pool. However, Toyin’s corpse was later found inside the pool by the hotel security men when his friends had gone.

It was gathered that the manner of the death gave suspicion that something went wrong along the line. It was learnt that it was either the late Toyin was poisoned by his friends or may have dived into the pool after heavy drinking but did not come out alive.

The incident was reported to the police at Idimu Division who have moved into action to investigate the matter. It was gathered that his friends were said to have gone into hiding having suspected that they will be arrested to explain what happened to the deceased and why they abandoned him at the hotel.
